BROOKS, Albert (WWII Veteran, Retired Outboard Marine)

With his family by his side at St. Josephs at Fleming on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 in his 93rd year.  Beloved husband of Bernice “Babe” (nee Dalton).  Loving father of David and his wife Carole, Paul and his wife Mary-Louise, Lenore Benincasa and her husband Frank, and Julia Crowe and her husband Kevin Sr.  Cherished grandfather of Paula Brooks-Hinds (Chris), Jason Brooks, Brian Brooks, Candice Walker (Lee), Danielle Brooks, Joshua Benincasa (Heather), Jacob, Kevin Crowe Jr. and his wife Kate and Kyle Crowe,  Karine Baudner (Hamilton) and Alexandra Talbot and great grandfather of Mitchell, Austin, Benjamin,  Charlotte William, Emily, Bryson, Ayden, Jaxon, Halia and Noah.  Predeceased by his parents William Brooks and Julia Rundle and his siblings Mrytle Bennewithe, Evelyn Fisher, June Stewart, Dorothy Baldry and Miles Brooks.  Sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough on Thursday from 5:00-7:00PM.  Funeral Mass will be held at IMMACULATE CONCEPTION ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH  386 Rogers Street, Peterborough ON Friday, January 5, 2018 at 11:00 AM.  Interment to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.  In memory of Al, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundationwould be appreciated by the family.  Online condolences may be made at www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com
