Alice Bernice (Jeff) Parnell

PARNELL, Alice- Peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Tuesday September 12, 2017 in her 93rd year.  Beloved wife of the late Edward “Erv".  Loving mother of Penny and Jeff (Lori).  Proud Grandmother to Jennifer Van Dolder (Mike) and Justin (Stephanie).  Adoring Great-Grandmother of Vivian.  Alice will be remembered by her sister Phyllis Phillips, her nieces, nephews and by her dear friend Mike Spears.  Alice was an avid traveller and enjoyed competing in bowling and golf.  She was always very involved and developed many friendships in the community volunteering with Meals on Wheels, the United Way and the Northminster United Church.  Thanks to everyone including Cindy Robbins at CCAC, Jan at Lifehouse and the PRHC Nursing Staff, your care and attentiveness meant so much.  Interment will take place at Highland Park Cemetery at a later date.  In memory of Alice, donations can be made to CNIB.
