BRADSTREET, Allan Douglas. Peacefully with family by his side at Peterborough Regional Oct. 21, 2017. Beloved husband of Diane (née Dick) for 43 years. Loving father of Kristina (Matthew) of Bowmanville & James of Peterborough. Cherished Opa to Charles & Elizabeth. Predeceased by parents Betty & Chuck, and sisters Carol & Doris, all of Toronto. Allan worked for many years in the tech industry at Princess Margaret Hospital, Texas Instruments, Air Miles, LSI Logic and Lucent. He spent the last 15 years of his career at Humber College sharing his experience with others. Allan busied himself in life tending to various household repairs and chores. He enjoyed tinkering and vegetable gardening, and being a loving husband to Diane. Allan fought an unwinnable battle with ALS, and in respect of this, the family asks for donations to the ALS Society in lieu of flowers. In accordance with Allan’s wishes, a cremation has already taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at St. John The Evangelist Anglican Church in Peterborough on Saturday, Nov. 4th, 2017 at 11:30am.
