Dear Hutchinson Family
We were saddened to hear this news and will remember your Dad with a fondness for his humour and energy. He was an inspiration to so many and touched the lives of so many both within the community and everywhere he went.
We are sad that we are not able to attend the celebration of life but look forward to sharing memories in the future of what great guy your dad was. Love always Karen, Randy, Patrick and Robert

I had the privilege of teaching with Art at Fleming College. He was never afraid to take risks in the classroom & was always in a cheerful mood. I will miss his sense of humour & his professionalism.

Rest in peace

Art was a wonderful man and he loved his artwork. He encouraged me to find interest in painting and I did succeed in finishing a painting at George Street United church where he had arranged a class. It hangs proudly in my hall and I will think of him every time I look at it. He had a great sense of humor and made things enjoyable. Thank you Art. Rest in peace, my friend.

My deepest sympathy to Art's family on this sad day. Art was a person that always lead the day, the topic and life with passion and a clear, caring vision of what was correct for our world. Well done Art. We miss you already.

Dear Hutchinson Family,

What a wonderful educator Art was. And what a gift he was to everyone in his retirement years--positive, creative, caring, humourous and full of live. Marcee, my wee Chihuahua, and I loved our visits with Arthur over the years. He was a special man in every sense of the word. We need more people like Art in our noisy, crowded, polluted, stressful, changing world, so when we lose such a man, our world becomes a less desirous place to live and learn. Art will be truly missed as he saw rainbows and sunshine wherever he went. Congratulations, Art, on your trip through life. Surely you deserve 100% for making our world a better place to be?

Having known and enjoyed Art's humorous ways as I served with him and Tom Davis, amongst others, at the PCBofEd, I concur heartily with what Tom and Marcee have written in tribute to this Gentle Man. RIP Art.......Eddy.

Art was a wonderful colleague and excellent educator. I have no doubt that he is remembered very fondly by many of his Fleming graduates, as well as his former co-workers, such as me.

Uncle Art always lived life to the fullest, and at the heart of it, he truly loved being surrounded by loved ones, both family and friends. His creativity and fun loving disposition will be deeply missed. Rest In Peace xo
