It was with great sadness and disbelief to hear about Cecile's passing. She deeply touched our lives. We are so sad we were out of the country when the funeral was held. We would have been there for sure. We are thinking of the family and so deeply sorry for their loss of their Mom/Grandmother.

Dear Katie and family: Your mom, Cecile, has left her spirit in many places and with many people. Far too many to mention here. We will always hear her music when we enter St. Al's because it has now become part of the air we breath in that sacred space.

Cecile was a vital member of our volunteer team. Her musical gifts provided grace and beauty to our Tuesday Services. I don't think we can ever replace her and certainly not in our hearts.

My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family of Cecile. I have known this lady for many years, first when she worked at the Medical Center, and also as her neighbour in the co-op. She was a beautiful lady inside and out, and she will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Rest in peace Cecile.

Our sincere condolences to the family of Cecile, she has been in our lives for a very long time as Choir Director/Organist at St Alphonsus for so many years and as a co-worker, friend at the Medical Centre. Cecile will be missed for her bright smile, love of music and friendship over the years.

Heartfelt sympathy to all the members of the O'Rourke & Byrne Clans. Cecile was a longtime, wonderful friend. A terrible shock to lose her. Grateful to be together as a choir to have our picture taken, not knowing it would be our last, only a couple of weeks ago. RIP Dear Friend & do keep those angels harmonizing.
