Daniel "Danny" Joseph Patrick Galvin

GALVIN, Daniel Joseph Patrick - It is with great sadness that the family of Danny Galvin announces his peaceful passing at home surrounded by his adoring family after a brief fight with cancer on Wednesday June 14, 2017 at the age of 78 years. Danny will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 54 years, Christine and his children, Kelly Ann (Doug) Harrison, Colleen Tracey(Paul) Lasch, David Allan (Carolyn) Galvin, and Karrie Ann (Jeff) Kirker. Danny will also be fondly remembered by his ten grandchildren, Keigan, Erin, Meagan, Molly, Hutton (Jacqueline), Sean, Rutger, Conner, Cole, Arwyn and two great grandchildren, Ronan and Theo and a third on the way. Dear brother of Betty Linke, Marie Byrne, Jim, Ted, Charles and Willie. Sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews. Danny was predeceased by his sisters Breda and Winnie. Visitation will be held at the Highland Park Funeral Centre (2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough) on Friday June 16, 2017 from 2-5 pm. Cremation to follow.
