David "Dave" William Greenley

GREENLEY, David William “Dave” (Retired Carpenter and Foreman of Eastwood Construction,  Retired Carpenter of the former Peterborough Civic Hospital, Resident of Driscoll’s Cottages, Otonabee Township for over 50 years where he built a home and raised a family) At Pleasant Meadow Nursing Home, Norwood on Thursday, February 1, 2018 in his 78th year. Dave, beloved husband of the late Audrey Hilda Chappell of Norwood, Ontario. Loving father of Donna Greenley, Darryl Greenley (Barb Jones), Dianne Grims, and Debra Greenley. Cherished Grandpa of Madolyn, Anwyn , Paige, Joshua, Sondra, and Victoria. Brother of Sheila Lutes (Richard, predeceased), and Wayne Greenley (Dorothy). Son of the late Phil and Marion Greenley of Indian River, ON. Also remembered by several nieces and nephews, cousins and numerous others Dave lent a hand to over his lifetime. Lovingly remembered by his closest friends Ted and Betty Maker and Gerry and Caroline Garnett and the entire Driscoll family (direct descendants of the late Dennis Driscoll Sr.) Visitation at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Road on Thursday, February 8th 2018 from 1:00 to 2:00pm followed by a Celebration of Life in the Highland Chapel at 2:00 pm. with informal Plaid shirts and baseball caps as the welcomed attire. Reception to follow. Spring Interment Maple Grove Cemetery, Havelock. In memory of Dave, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
