On Monday August 8, 2016, Dieter Wittek of Dieter and Darcy’s NoFrills passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the age of 61.  During his life he played roles including treasured husband, loving father, adored grandfather, beloved son, brother, uncle, loyal friend, fun golf buddy, good boss and mentor.  We plan on celebrating his life in the same way he lived it.  Surrounded by family, friends, team mates, music and laughter.  Please join us at the PETERBOROUGH GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB, 1030 Armour Rd, Peterborough on Thursday, August 11th, 2016 from 1:30-3:30 P.M. Service at 3:30 followed by a time to share stories and to celebrate his life.  To share your memories a box will be available to collect ***your*** favorite stories and pictures for the family to keep and enjoy.  In lieu of flowers, please consider sending a donation to the PRHC Foundation and can be made through the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough.  The Peterborough Hospital treated Dieter with such respect and care  and we want them to be able to do this for others. 

To allow the entire NoFrills team to attend the Celebration of Dieter’s Life, 

the store will be closed on Thursday from 1:00-5:00 p.m.
