Edith "Betty" Ellen (Meades) Barr

BARR, Edith Ellen “Betty” (nee Meades) – Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Fairhaven Nursing Home on Friday, July 22nd, 2016 in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of John Barr for 71 wonderful years. Devoted mother of the late Frederick, Cindy, Joel (Judi) and Scott. Adored grandmother of Jesse Fletcher (Amy), Ryan Fletcher (Lisa), Mark Fletcher, Brittany Hutchines (Joel), Hailey Lawrie (Drew), Chase (Jessica) and Emily. Cherished great-grandmother of Anna, Abby, Nash, Dalton and Oliver. Fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Margaret Vesik. Predeceased by her sister and best friend Amy Moase and all twelve brothers: George, Al, Ted, Ernie, Gord, Don, Mel, Harold, Frank, Jack, Art and Doug. Betty will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews, as well as all who knew her. Friends and family will be received at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road, on Monday, July 25th, 2016 from 11:00 A.M. until time of Funeral Service at 1:00 P.M. Reception to follow.
