Heather was a very important person in my sons educational life at St Johns and Holy Cross. She advocated for him as he was not able to do it for himself. She brought humour and her sunny personality to his life which I will be eternally grateful to her for. She was a very special person and when Tyler was with her I knew he was supported and safe in her care. "Fred" as she called him, thought the world of her. Thank you Heather and may you rest in peace knowing how loved you were. Thank you from Tylers Mom, Shirley Ann Parcels

Heather's mother (Joyce) worked for my father for decades, and I've lost touch with her. Please send her my condolences. Awful news.

I had the honour of knowing Heather as a dedicated, hardworking and understanding educational assistant at both St. Peter and Holy Cross Catholic Secondary Schools. She treated the students with whom she worked with respect and dignity. She always thought of the students first and would often come up with very creative ways of meeting their learning needs. Heather was always upbeat and cheerful. She will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and her many friends. R.I.P. Heather.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Joyce and Gil, Glen Sr and Glen Jr, Riley, Sean, Caley and families on the passing of Heather. A very bright light in your world has been extinguished well ahead of its' time leaving this place a little darker. We leave you with this quote from Leo Buscaglia:
I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love.
