Hellen (Wright) Basciano

BASCIANO, Laura “Hellen” (nee Wright) (member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #52, and the Air Force Association of Canada Wing #428

Peacefully at Case Manor in Bobcaygeon on Sunday, November 5, 2017 in her 88th year.  Beloved wife of the late Michele “Michael” Basciano (1951-1983) and the late Harold Holland (1994—2015).  Loving mother of Domenic “Nick” (Rebecca), Karen Basciano-Ireland (Bert), the late Sharon Crowley  Bill Crowley (Joanne).  , Caroline Basciano-Welch (Stephen) Michelle Basciano and Ernie Basciano.  Cherished grandmother of Michele, Nicolas (Janice), Amy, Robert (Nicole), Angela Jayson), Tristin, Tasha, Courtney, Alyssa and Carly,  and great grandmother of Alex, Lucas, Jayden, Austin, Liam, Doug, the late Kael, Hannah, Isaiah and Kylah. Predeceased her parents Benjamin Franklin Wright and Annie Pearsall , her brothers Fred and George (Dorothy) and her sister Aileen (Harold) .  There will be a Funeral Mass held at IMMACULATE CONCEPTION ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH 386 Rogers Street Peterborough, on Wednesday, November, 8, 2017 at 3:00 P.M.  Private Interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery.  There will be a Celebration of Hellen’s Life to follow the interment at the Air Force Association Wing #428, 274 King Street Peterborough from 5:00-7:00 P.M.   In memory of Hellen, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough.  On line condolences may be made at www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com
