At the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 in her 67th year. Beloved wife of Clare for 47 years. Beloved mother of Chris and his wife Angela, Brian and his wife Rebecca and Melanie Ahlers and her husband Rian. Cherished grandmother of Hannah, Grace, Olivia, Emma and Logan. Dear sister of Douglas Oliver and his wife Elizabeth, Steven Oliver and his wife Karen, Jennifer English and her husband Steve and Joe Oliver. Joan will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Joan was a member of Survivors Abreast and Canadian Abreast. There will be a Celebration of Joan`s Life held at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough on Monday, July 17, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. Reception to follow in the Highland Park Reception Centre. In memory of Joan, donations to the PRHC Foundation, the Survivors Abreast or Kawartha Settlers Village would be appreciated by the family.
