We had such a short time together but we will always remember the luncheon you and Clare prepared for us even when you where in such pain, you made us feel like royalty and went out of your way to make us a beautiful lunch. Words cannot express how much I loved Joan. She had a huge heart and was always thinking of others. We taught together for many years. We shared many stories and giggles. One of the best giggles occurred while we were in a paddle boat. Joan wanted to retrieve some lillies for a pond. Lillies have a long, strong root. We did retrieve the Lilly but almost needed a rescue boat. Very funny, better if you had seen it in person. I will miss our visits, shopping trips and car tours. A true angel was taken from us on Wednesday. XO XO
