Marie Violet (Spencer) Blodgett

BLODGETT, Marie Violet (nee Spencer, Long time Employee of C.G.E.): At Peterborough Regional Health Centre  with her family by her side on Monday, January 8, 2018 in her 80th year. Marie, predeceased by Don, her husband of 58 years. Loving and devoted mother of Patricia Molloy (Matt), David (Ida), Teresa Hughes (Rob), Darlene Blodgett (John), Mike (Mary), and Kevin. Cherished Grandma of Amanda, Nyssa (Dennis), Tyler; Dylan; Ashley, Kyle, Cody (Megan); Rachel (Jeff), Chad; Michael, Alisha, Kevin, Jason; Madison, and great Grandma to Madeline, Caleb,; Gracie Lynn, Cohen, Sophia; and Maliya. Survived by her brother Mike Spencer, Willie Spencer (Jean), sisters Evelyn Eagleton, and Rita Reuter(Mike), and sisters-in-law Corrine Nicholson, and Lily Patterson (Russell). Daughter of the late William Lawrence Spencer and Florence Gerow. Visitation at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road, on Thursday, January 11th from 10:00 am to 12:00 p.m. Interment St. Peter’s Cemetery followed by a Memorial Reception at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 77 Lakefield from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.
