Robert Clarence Boswell

Boswell, Robert Clarence (Korea War Veteran) – Passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre at the age of 85. He leaves behind his wife Gail Boswell (nee Wakelin) of 62 years. Loving father of Debra Scott (Joe) and Darrell (Joyce). Grandfather of Nicole, Amanda (Tyler), Danielle (John). Dear brother of George (Freda), Harold (Yvonne) and Nan James (Roger), Phyllis Wilkie, Donna St. John (Ed) and brother-in-law of Don Wakelin (Donna) and the late Sheila Wakelin.  Robert worked for Outboard Marine and drove bus with Trentway Wagar. Friends will be received on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at the Highland Park Funeral Centre (2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough) from 1 – 1:45 p.m. A Royal Canadian Legion Service will take place a 1:45p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 2 p.m. in the Highland Park Chapel. Interment to follow at Highland Park Cemetery. In memory of Robert, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society. The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses at PRHC that attended to Bob.
