Ruby (Cress) Dimma

DIMMA, Ruby (nee Cress) – passed away peacefully on Friday, March 24th, 2017 at Princess Gardens where she had resided since 2004. She lived a wonderful life and was exactly one month shy of her 106th birthday. Predeceased by her husband Robert E. Dimma (1963), daughter Mary Lou Cuff (1999) and son-in-law Robert Cuff (2001). Loving mother of Dr. John Dimma (Jill) of Oliver, BC. Grandmother to Christine Clinton (Simon), Peter Cuff (Joanna), Katherine Cuff (James), Chris Dimma (Valeinna), Michael Dimma, Andrew Dimma (Christine) and Meghan Dimma and great-grandmother to 11 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of the late Norma Hodgson and the late Edna Staebler. Ruby will be remembered by family and friends and all those kittens and cats that so much enjoyed her knitted catnip mice. The family would like to thank the staff of Princess Gardens for their ever generous love and care. A Celebration of Ruby’s life will be held at Princess Gardens, 100 Charlotte Street, on Monday, March 27th, 2017 from 2:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. A private burial took place at Little Lake Cemetery.
