Victor Mundy

MUNDY, Victor – Peacefully at Lakeridge Health, Port Perry, on Sunday, July 23rd, 2017 in his 99th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife and best friend of 68 years, Helen (nee Devlin). Devoted father of Reggie, Ronalee Murphy (Gary), Carole, Richard (Jackie Tonner) and Susan Dafoe (Ward). Adored grandfather of Kelly, Julie, Margaret, Stephanie, Alexandre and Mackenzie and great-grandfather of Laura, Maddie, Alysa, Joey, Elliot and Callum. Victor is survived by sisters Dorothy Covell, Elsie Thurston and Myrtle Lamb. Predeceased by parents Harry and Edith (nee Barlow), sisters Charlotte Harper and Edith Cole and brothers Edward, Harry, Albert, Ernie, David and George. Victor will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews and sadly missed by all who knew him. In keeping with Victor’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road, on Sunday, July 30th, 2017 from 2:00 P.M. until time of Memorial Service at 3:00 P.M. There will be a light luncheon to follow. Interment at Little Lake Cemetery will take place at a later date.
