THOMPSON, Alilee Nelda

Courageously passed on at her residence on Monday, January 21, 2019 at the age of 67.  Dear sister of Richard Thompson (Maria), Gail Jones (Gerald), Jeannie McLean, and Peggy Walton (Tom).  Alilee’s lovely smile and generous heart will be sadly missed by her soul mate Debbie Taylor, long-time friends Gloria Larkin and Gert Lovering, niece Sheila, nephews Wes, Royce, Kelvin and Sheldon, as well as numerous cousins and friends. Alilee was predeceased by her parents Charles and Lenny and her brother Larry.  She enjoyed collecting a variety of things but most important to her were the hearts of everyone she met.  Alilee was talented in the visual arts, musically gifted, and wonderfully curious about everything around her.  Cremation has taken place and there will be a Celebration of her life held at the NORWOOD TOWN HALL, 2357 County Road 45, Norwood on Saturday, April 6, 2019 starting at 3 pm and concluding with the monthly dance by the Donegal Fiddlers, a group she founded in 2002.  In memory of Alilee, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated and can be made through the Highland Park Funeral Centre 2510 Bensfort Rd Peterborough.  Online condolences may be made at www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com
