It is with a tremendous amount of sadness that we announce the loss of Brodie Ross. On the morning of July 3rd 2019 after a short but terribly tough fight with cancer Brodie passed peacefully at the age of 26. He was the beloved son of Randy and Dawn (Wasson) Ross. The Cherished brother to, Griffin Ross and Julia (Ross) Behan, (Brendan Behan). He was an adored Uncle of Wade Behan and his future sibling due in January.  He will be greatly missed by his grandparents Bob (Robert) Ross and the late Carol Ross, Betty Wasson and the late Royden Wasson. He was the nephew to Bonnie (Ross) and Bill Collins, Bonnie (Wasson) and the late Eric Robinson, Glenna (Wasson) and Ed Horlings, John and Debbie Wasson, Andy and Heather Wasson and Krista Wasson. Brodie also had three dogs, Ayla, Ivar and Clyde.

Brodie graduated from Crestwood Secondary School in 2011 and from Algonquin College in 2014 with a diploma in Construction Engineering Technician and in 2015 with a diploma in Civil Engineering Technician. He worked at Ontario Power Generation in Pickering. Brodie was always a busy and driven man, when he wanted to do something he went for it full force and always succeeded. He bought a house in 2016. His passions were hunting, working out and filming videos for his youtube channel “RockRib OutDoors.” Brodie was always working on some project and loved to be outdoors or researching into a new hobby or interest. Brodie always made time for his family and friends. He was very caring of other people and checking in on them or helping people out when they needed it. He also loved spending time with his nephew Wade and couldn’t wait to take him out to explore the outdoors. Brodie was a natural leader, unafraid to speak his mind and unafraid of life. He truly lived it to the fullest and with the biggest smile on his face at all times. His energy was contagious. He will be truly missed but never forgotten by anyone who has met him.

A wake to celebrate Brodie’s life will be held at HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE on Tuesday July 9th from 2-4 P.M and 7-9 P.M. The funeral will be on Wednesday July 10th at 1P.M.
