JOUDREY, Mrs. Daisy Marguerite (nee Lohnes)

Passed away peacefully at Springdale Country Manor in Cavan Monaghan,  Ont., on Monday, May, 21, 2018 in her 97 th year with her family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Nathan. Loving mother of Carole Ernst (Peter), Donald Joudrey (Donna) and the late Wayne Joudrey. Cherished grandmother of Ray Ernst (Holly) and Eren Joudrey (Brooke), and beloved great-grandmother of Jaxon, Carson and Ethan Ernst; Ryan and Olivia Joudrey. Dear sister of the late Lloyd Lohnes. Daisy was the daughter of the late Wesley and Carol (Aulenback) Lohnes. Daisy will be dearly missed by her nephew Kendall Lohnes, extended family, friends and her dear and special forever friend, Marjorie Zwicker. Cremation has taken place and a funeral service and reception was held in Peterborough on June 16, 2018. There will be a graveside interment service at The Garden of Rest Cemetery in Blockhouse, N.S., on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 2:00PM, with Rev. Adam Snook officiating. A reception and refreshments to follow at the St. John's Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall in Mahone Bay to celebrate Daisy's life, which resembled a pure gold cord of love and compassionate caring for others, that was invisibly woven throughout our hearts, minds and lives.
