Doug was a very good friend of mine during our high school years.We shared many good times together including the 2 days we spent painting his parents house after which we were covered in white paint.Always supportive and a true friend with whom I shared an underage drink.So sorry to hear this sad news at such a young age.

Dear Fisher Family,
Words do not describe how much Doug was the heart-and-soul of the Quaker High program that he directed in the 1980s. As the Peterborough County Board of Education employee charged with the development of high school credit courses at GE High, Quaker High and 3M High, I relied completely on Doug's effort to get the program up-and-running at Quaker Oats. And Doug delivered BIG TIME. Well done Doug. You were an all star in this incredibly worthwhile program. Congratulations on your organizational skills and the program you uneathed.

We are all saddened by Doug's passing. He was always so good to everyone and loved sharing his hospitality. May all of you hold the memories close. Rest in peace Uncle Doug.
