My family and I had the pleasure of living next to Elmer for the last 7 years - we could not ask for a better neighbor. Well into his 90's he would bake cakes for my children and always had a treat or candy for them when we visited. He would even gift us a sample of his maple syrup every year, which he made himself with another neighborhood hero, Frank.
You will be missed Elmer.
