Peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, August 7, 2017 in his 79th year.  Beloved husband of Eugenia (nee Kaspasouris).  Loving father of Meny, Rebecca Salfi and her husband John, Nina, and Maria.  Cherished pappou of Antonio, Giorgio, Gabriella, and Evi.  Predeceased by his parents Cleomenis and Rebecca his brother Peter and his sister Athena.  Loving theo to many nieces and nephews. George will be sadly missed by his many friends, extended family and customers.  Friends will be received at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough on Thursday from 6:00-9:00 P.M. and at the FRATELLI VESCIO FUNERAL HOME, 8101 Weston Rd., Woodbridge, on Friday from 6:00-9:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be held at ST. CONSTANTINE AND HELEN GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH 1 Brookhaven Drive Toronto on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 9:30 AM.  Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery Toronto.  In memory of George, and because of his involvement with the local Greek Community, donations to the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church Peterborough would be appreciated by the family.  On line condolences may be made at www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com
