BATTYE, Mr. George Edward (Retired Ontario Hydro Project Accountant)

Peacefully at his home at Canterbury Gardens on Saturday, January, 2019 in his 89th year.  Beloved husband of Theresa (nee McCarthy) for 67 years.  Loving father of Frances Hood, Sheila Estabrooks (Marc), John Battye (Angie), Michael Battye (Nancy), Patricia Jefferson (Jim), and Mark Battye (Tracy).  Cherished grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.  Dear brother of the late Laurie Battye (the late Margaret), Dorothy Pilot (the late Bill) and the late Grace Hendrickson (the late Hank).  Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews.  There will be a Celebration of George’s Life held at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 10:30 AM .
