I am so sorry that I can not be there to share with you my feelings about Hellen in person. What jumps to mind first is what a good friend that she was to my mother. They enjoyed each others company and spent a lot of time together. Secondly, I will never forget the Boxing Days out at the lake. I think her sauce was my favourite of all (better than my moms, shhhh). Finally, I remember what a kind, warm-hearted person she was. Always a smile and a kind word. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the family at this time. I enjoyed my time over the many years I visited - your Mom always made me feel welcome - she let me help out and do dishes, etc...! That's when I felt most like a part of the family.

Karen and family, I remember growing up in East City and spending many happy times at your home with you and your family. Your Mom was such a beautiful person, always smiling and happy to see anyone coming to the door. In later years I crossed paths with your Mom when I worked at St. Joe's and she was volunteering in the gift shop. Same beautiful lady with a big smile on her face.
