James Douglas Farthing

FARTHING, Jim “Creach” - While surrounded by loving family, Jim passed away on December 5, 2018, age 68, at Toronto General Hospital. Jim will be missed deeply by his wife and best friend Joanne of 25 years, his brother Garnet (Karen), sister-in-law Diane (Gord), brother-in-law Bob (Susan), stepchildren Darren (Jenn) and Nadine (Bryan), and adoring grandchildren Kayla, Carson, Nathan, Jordyn, Connor, Landon as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. Jim is predeceased by his parents and sister, Doug, Helen and Bona. He also had many friends whose lives he touched with his crazy, outgoing personality.  Jim's happiest times were spent at the lake enjoying the company of his family and friends.  Jim “Creach” was truly a renaissance man and lived life to the fullest. In keeping with Jim's wishes, cremation has taken place.  There will be a celebration of Jim's life at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road, on Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 3:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M. with Eulogies at 4:00 P.M. Interment at Little Lake Cemetery to take place at a later date.
