At the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Bill Hughes. Loving mother of Terry Hughes, Linda Hughes (Neil Wyeth), and Liz Bell (Don). Dear mother-in-law of Debbie Hughes. Cherished grandmother of Kristen Hughes, Tyler Hughes, Lacey Bell, Dustin Cunning, Griffin Bell and great grandmother of Benjamin. Predeceased by her sister Betty. Remembered by her life long friends Mary Edwards, Margaret Lee and Dot Taylor. There will be a private family service held at ST. JAMES UNITED CHURCH at a later date. In memory of Jean, donations to the Peterborough Humane Society would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough.
