John "Jack" Delaney Obituary

Jack died peacefully at PRHC after a brief illness on Thursday August 8, 2019.  Predeceased by wife Winnifred (nee Doherty), loving companion of Evelyn McGillivray. Father of Paul (Diane), Brenda Gagnon (Joe) and Dan (Sarah).  Much loved Papa to Chad, Brad (Hilary), Ashley (Evan), Aleasha (Andrew), Jessica, Jeff, Jacob (Megan) and Sydney and great-grandfather to Paige, Lucas, Hunter, Noah and Easton.  Survived by sister Dorothy O’Brien, in-laws Joe Walsh, Helen Tackaberry (Len), Rita Allen (Bill), Bernadette Guyatt (Paul) and Jerry Doherty (Dianne).  Predeceased by parents John and Rita Delaney, parents-in-law Jeremiah and Mary Doherty, sister Joanne Tully, brothers Robert (Sandy) and Garry, in-laws Marie and John Clancy and Theresa Walsh.  He will also be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends.

Jack, you have touched the hearts of so many and we will cherish our memories forever.

There will be a celebration of Jack’s life on Sunday, August 11, 2019 from 1:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. at the

HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road.
