EVANS, John “Jack” Frederick: It is with heavy hearts that the family wishes to share the passing of Jack on May 31st, 2019 in Peterborough Hospice at the age of 74. Jack will be forever missed by his loving wife and soul mate of 51 years, Marilyn (Wilson). Caring father of Paul (Hazel), and Scott (Tina), and proud poppa Jack of Jackson, and Charlie and the late baby Gizella. Survived by his sister Pauline (L. Don), Kingsbury, and his mother-in-law Marion Wilson-Goodlet (Harold). Brother-in-law of Judy Hitchcock (Ken), and Gary (Doreen), Rick (Cheryl), Robert (Tammy) Wilson. He will be loved and missed by his many nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbours. Predeceased by his parents Paul and Harriett Evans, and step-mother Gizella. Jack retired from the Traffic Department of G.E. Canada in 2002. He has enjoyed many trips to destinations warm and sunny in the winter and his passion was on the golf course in the summer. He also played ball, was a bowler and enjoyed a good game of cards with his family and friends. Jack was a member of the Walkie Talkies and a past president of Peterborough Traffic Club. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road on Tuesday, June 4th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm followed by a Funeral Service in the Highland Chapel at 1:00 pm. Private Family Interment in Little Lake Cemetery followed by a reception in the Highland Park Reception Centre.
