ANDERSON, Judith Shields “Didi”
Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre with her family on Wednesday, June 6th, 2018 in her 82nd year. A beautiful spirit has left us. Tireless photographer at Lang Pioneer Village, long-time member of the Peterborough Photographic Society and recipient of numerous volunteer service awards. Life-long horse-trainer, Border Collie enthusiast, artist, gardener and nature-lover. Wife of the late Fred Anderson (predeceased 2006). Loving mother to Tania and Paul (Elizabeth). Beloved and proud Grandma to Henry and Katarina. Sister of James Roentgen Shields of Charlotte, N.C. (predeceased 2012) and Dennis Helms of Princeton N.J. She is survived by nine first cousins, all residing in the United States:

Didi will be dearly missed by her many friends in the Peterborough, Douro-Dummer and Lakefield communities while her photographic legacy will continue to be enjoyed by countless individuals. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday June 11th, 2018 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Rd.
