MATTHEWS, Leona Faye (nee Carter): Suddenly as the result of a motor vehicle accident in Selwyn on Saturday, December 1, 2018 in her 67th year. Leona, beloved wife of the late Don Matthews (d. December 5, 2018). Loving and devoted mother of Erin Brown (Andrew),  Angela Petherick, and foster mother of Tracy Sawyer (Jim). Cherished Grandmother of Wyatt Oolo, Grace Brown, Carter Brown, Brandon Sawyer, Cayden Sawyer, and the late T.J. Sawyer. Dear sister of Ross, Leo, Ron, Ken, and Bonnie Carter. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Visitation at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road on Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 10:00 to 11:00 am followed by a Memorial Service in the Highland Chapel at 11:00 am.
