Leslie Allen Henwood

HENWOOD, Mr. Leslie Allen  - At the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 in his 75th year.  Beloved husband of Sharon (nee Davis) for 52 years.  Loving father of Jamie and his wife Melissa, and Shawn and his wife Cheryl.  Cherished Papa of Nathan, Nolan and Ethan.  Predeceasd by his parents Sidney Henwood and Shirley (nee Leslie) and his brother Ron Henwood.  Dear brother-in-law of Ron and Arlene Davis, Ken and Liz Davis and Fran Henwood.  Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews. Next to his family, Les's greatest joy was in his music. Starting in his teens, Les played guitar in the era of the rock and roll bands in Peterborough in the 60's, and continued playing in various bands until recently. He was also a proud marching member of the Kawartha Kavaliers Drum Corp in Lindsay for many years.  Friends will be received at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough on Monday, November 12, 2018 from 1:30- 2:30 PM.  Funeral service to follow in the Highland Park Funeral Chapel at 3:00 PM. with Canon Milton Barry officiating. Cremation.
