SCOTT, Michael Joseph “Peter”(Retired General Motors Employee, Member of the Knights of Columbus 12418 Immaculate Conception and Sir Knight Aubrey Allen Assembly #2571)

It is with great sadness that Heather Scott (nee McNaughton) has to relay the passing of her hero, her rock of over 48 years.  Michael was a proud father to our two daughters the late Tammy Scott-Stewart and Kerry Hall (Robert).  He was a special grandfather to Kristin (Tyler), Elyse (Trevor), Emma (Jay), Brianne, Jessie, Leah and Scott.  Pops to 2 beautiful great granddaughters, Kinsley and Emery Briere. Thank you Kristin and Tyler Michael was the 10th born to Michael Scott and Catherine Leahy of Douro and son-in-law of Bruce McNaughton and Molly DeCarlo of Peterborough. Survived by his two sisters Rita Gerolamy (Dave), and Cathy (Bunt) Cavanagh.  Predeceased by his siblings Helen Chambo (Ted), John (Winnie), Olive Doran (Elmer), Ray (Mary and Dee), Clare (Barb), Marie Lefebvre (Frenchy), and Don (Ruth).  Michael Peter was a favorite uncle to over 40 nieces and nephews, he was a friend to many from Mission Texas and Golf Buddy to a select few. You know who you are.  See you on the front 9 and have a Guinness poured at the 19th .There will be a Funeral Mass held at IMMACULATE CONCEPTION ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH 386 Rogers Street Peterborough, on Monday, May 8, 2017 at 11:00 A.M.  Reception to follow in the Church Hall.  Donations to the Five Counties Children Centrewould be appreciated by the family and can be made through the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough.  On line condolences mat be made at www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com.
