Netta Ruth (Lawrenson) O'Marra

O’MARRA, Netta Ruth – While surrounded by her loving family, Netta passed away peacefully at Lakefield Extendicare on Sunday, June 9, 2019, at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late Gerald O’Marra. Devoted and loving mother of Colleen Newell (Alec), Jim (Sue), Tim (Brenda), and Carrie (Keith Latimer). Proud grandmother of James, the late Jacqueline, Shaelyn, Ryan, Joshua, Sean, and Sasha. Adored sister of Wilfred Lawrenson (Lorraine), Marg Summerfeldt (Don), Dave Lawrenson (Krista), Rhoda Bowman (Rob), and the late Dorothy Bell (Ivan) and Jack Lawrenson (Dorothy). Cherished sister-in-law of Cecil (the late Marlene), Lawrence, Fern McElhinney (Roger), Jean Choinard (Ron), Allan, Arthur, and Edie Sneath (Buster). Dear aunt to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Edward and Harriet “Ruth” (nee Holder) Lawrenson. Netta will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her. Friends will be received at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road, on Friday, June 14, 2019 from 2:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. The funeral service will be held in the Highland Park Chapel on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 2:30P.M. followed by a reception. All are welcome to the interment at St. Mark’s Anglican Cemetery in Warsaw on Monday, June 17, 2019 at 11:00 A.M.
