Norma Illeen (Landon) Campbell

It is with sadness yet relief the family grieves the passing of a loving wife, amazing mother and grandmother: Norma Illeen Campbell (nee Landon) on Sunday, December 31st, 2017 at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre in her 95th year. Dementia had overtaken her mind and body. Norma; born July 31st, 1923, is the loving wife of Harry Campbell for 72 years and the amazing mother to Dwaine (Margete) and Lynn. Granny will be greatly missed by her grandchildren: Rhonda, Jennifer (Ken), Lisa (Jeff), Adam (Amanda) and Candice, as well by her eleven great-grandchildren: Josh, Jenna, Laura, Sophie, Nathan, Drew, Madison, Morgan, Mitchell, Makayla and Lydia. Missing her each day is her sister Patricia Hilker. Norma will be welcomed with open arms by her family that has gone on before: her parents Florence and Ernest Landon, her brothers Elgin and Vaughn, her sisters June and Dell as well as many extended family members. Although Mom has been unable to be the “anchor” in our family unit for some time now, she has left with us a legacy of memories that we will forever hold dear. Thank you Mom! Norma’s family will receive friends at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road, on Thursday, January 4th, 2018 from 1:15 P.M. until the time of Funeral Service at 2:15 P.M. Following the Service will be interment at Highland Park Cemetery and a time of fellowship in the Highland Park Reception Centre.
