CARTER, Norman

It is with sadness we announce the passing of Norman Carter on Feb. 014, 2019 in his 98th year. Norm married Eileen (nee Ford) and together raised their family of four in Toronto and Owen Sound. He spent 35 years working as Manager for various offices of Trans Canada Credit. With a view to retirement he transferred to his company's Peterborough office. Norm was a Veteran of WWII and a 25 year member of 428 Wing Airforce Assoc. in Peterborough.

Norm was predeceased by daughter Jane and wife Eileen. He is survived by his daughter Beth Cowling-Carter, son Rob Carter and daughter Ann Karrel (Paul); grandchildren Amoreena Cowling-Meadows (Brett), Jesse Kate Cowling, Rita Karrel-Osmond (Wes), Garson Karrel; great grandchildren Ethan Graham, Ava & Julian Meadows, and Asher & Lincoln Osmond. Norm also leaves his wife Mary, her children Bryan and Jane Post and grandchildren Shannon and Aiden Post.

A dear husband, father and doting “Papa”, Norm leaves a wealth of memories with each and every family member which will be cherished in our hearts with love.
