Peacefully at his residence with his family by his side on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Vivian (nee Houghton) for 49 years. Beloved father of Paul and his wife Nicole, Alan and his wife Brenda Watson, and Lynn Bartholomew and her husband Kevin and the late Eddie. Cherished grandfather of Archer, Autumn, Oliver, Kassandra, Michael, Dalton, Kaitlynn and Cole and his fiancé Cassidy Phillips. Predeceased by his parents Alphonse and Olive (nee Guerin), his brother Carl, and his sister Rita. Sadly missed by his sister-in-law Marg Brioux and his nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough on Monday from 3:00-5:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM. Parish Prayers will be held at 5:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held at SACRED HEART ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 208 Romaine Street Peterborough on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Highland Park Cemetery. Reception Sacred Heart Church. In memory of Paul, donations to the Sacred Heart/St. John Food Bank, Peterborough Special Olympics or Friends Peterborough would be appreciated by the family.
