DELAHEY, Mr. Peter John Harvey

Peter was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the age of 44 as a result of a car accident.  He was the beloved husband and Lord’s choice of Lisa (nee Johnson).  He was the spiritual leader and devoted father of Matthew and Hannah.  Cherished son of Harvey and Carol (nee Hutchinson).  Dear brother of Tina McDonald and Gina Boynton (Wyatt Colazzi).  Loving uncle to his nieces Leanne (Scott), Tara, and his nephew Joey.  He was the ‘adopted’ uncle to so many who thought the world of him.  Pete’s generosity and willingness to help, at the drop of a hat was well known. His quick smile and contagious laugh touched many lives.  He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his friends, extended and church families, and all who knew him.  Friends will be received at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM.  Funeral Service will be held at the FREE METHODIST CHURCH, 450 Lansdowne Street Peterborough on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 11:00 AM.   Interment to follow at Highland Park Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, please make your donations to your favourite missionary or local church.  Online condolences may be made at www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com
