I had the pleasure to work with Bob at Central Commerce. He was the epitome of an effective Hall Monitor. Trusted and well liked by staff and students. Bob always had the pulse of what was happening in the school. Bob's calm and caring manner was always evident. It was my privilege to have known Bob. My thoughts are with the family.

I was so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I worked with Bob for many years at Central Commerce Collegiate and he was always so pleasant and hardworking. We didn't grow up at the same time but we lived in the same neighbourhood when we were younger. We had many conversations about our youth downtown. We sent Christmas cards to each other every year since he retired. He'll be greatly missed. Jackie, please accept my condolences to you and your family.

I worked with Bob when I was a teacher at Central Commerce Collegiate in Toronto. He was an excellent colleague and extremely good with the students. I remember one occasion where Bob, the vice-principal, and I tried to chase after a student who was always getting out of class and running through the halls. None of us could keep up with the kid, of course! Bob was the perfect combination of "firm but fair." We missed him when he left CCC. His presence made the school a better place.

I worked with Bob at Central Commerce Collegiate for quite a few years. He always had a cheerful attitude and positive manner. The staff and students loved him and he was missed greatly when he retired. When we first met little did I know that my son Taylor and Bob's grandson Tyler were buddies and still are to this day. I have thought about you often Bob. My deepest condolences to Jackie and family. Love Donna.
