At the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Thursday, October 31, 2019 in his 89th year.  Beloved husband of the late Gladys (nee Gingell).  Loving father of Wendy Jones, Steven Carswell,  David Carswell, and Anne Carswell.  Cherished grandfather of Shane Jones (Kim), Brandon Jones (Lindsay), Laura Fynboe (Jay), Nicole Wright (Gary), Scott Carswell (Ola), Curtis Rowden and Janice Carswell.  Great grandfather of 10.  Predeceased by his sister Thelma Scott.  Roy will be sadly missed by the Scott, Smith and Summerfeldt families.  There will be a Celebration of Roy’s life held at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough on Monday, November, 4, 2019 from 3:30-5:30 PM.  In memory of Roy, donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family.  Online condolences may be made at www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com
