Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at Pleasant Meadow Manor on Friday October 5th, 2018 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of Joan (nee Crookes). Proud father of John, Jeff (Debbie) and Joanne (Bryan). Loving Poppa of Shannon, Ashley, Alora, Bethany, Amanda (Jake) and Eliza. Dedicated Poppa to his great-grandson Callum. Russell will be sadly missed by his brother William (Lorraine) and is predeceased by his brother Edward (Nell). Remembered as a cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 9th, 2018 from 10:30 A.M to 11:45 A.M at the Hiawatha United Church, 120 Paudash St. Hiawatha. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon. Following the funeral service there will be a reception in the lower hall. Donations in memory of Russell can be made to Hiawatha United Church.
