Shirley Ann (Twomey) Ferguson

FERGUSON, Shirley Ann (nee Twomey) – While surrounded by her loving family, Shirley passed away at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, January 2nd, 2019 at the age of 75. Predeceased by her beloved husband Wesley “Fergie” Ferguson. Shirley, cherished daughter of Katherine and the late Irvin Twomey; devoted and loving mother of Katherine Moore (Randy), Brian Woodbeck, Nicole Woodbeck and Mary Lou Woodbeck (Shawn) and step-mother of Mike Woodbeck (Diane), Kim Murdoch, Keith Woodbeck and the late Frank Woodbeck; adored grandmother of Michael, Rick, Zack, Blake, Brian, Caitlynn, Cole, Chas, Melanie, Jordan, Justin, Jake, Josh, Jennifer, Ashley and the late Brian and great-grandmother of 15; dear sister of Joan Calvert, Jim Twomey (Janice) and Larry Twomey and aunt of Kimmy, Kerrie, Kurt, Marnie, Jody, the late Terry, Terina, Matthew, Ryan and Randy. Shirley is predeceased by her sister Patsy Twomey and brother’s Terry, Wayne and Kirk Twomey. Shirley will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her. Family and friends are invited to call at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road, on Saturday, January 5th, 2019 for visitation from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the Memorial Service at 11:30 A.M. Interment will take place in the spring at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery in Bancroft.
