Passed away peacefully at Riverview Manor in Peterborough, ON. Stan is joining his daughter Robin and leaving behind his son Leonard and daughter Tammy Laroche (Stephen Bowen) as well as their mother Grace (nee Lamothe). Grandpa Sam will also be missed by his grandchildren Michelle Laroche (Matt McCarrell), Joshua Laroche (Jamie Lynn Thibeault) and Sheehan Laroche. Stan will also be missed by his step-grandchildren Kirk, Christian and Felicity Bowen. Stan was also blessed to have five great grandchildren Lillian, Phoenix, Deklan, Harlan and James. Stan is survived by three of his twelve siblings. Ronald (Marion), Lola (George Stewart) and Jessie Sinon. Born into a family of thirteen, Stan will be remembered by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Stan was a hard worker, an inventor as well as quite stubborn but he will be remembered mostly for being a joker. Many of Peterborough’s businesses he frequented can attest to that. Stan’s favorite place to be was at Tammy and Steve’s home in Warsaw, ON so this is where the final family gathering will be.
