BURKE, Thomas Edward

Peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Wednesday July 17th 2019 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of the late Jane Craig and the late Helen Sullivan. Loving father of Thom (Christine), Colleen Schatt (Frank) and Tim. Proud grandfather of Jonathan, Adam, Matthew, Sarah, Nolan, Nathan and Stella. Great grandfather of Keira. Sadly missed by his brother Fr. Bart Burke, the last of nine siblings. A memorial service will be held on Friday July 26th, 2019 at 12:00 noon at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Rd. Peterborough. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Peterborough Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
