YOUNG, Mrs. Verda Velma (nee Loyse)

At the Peterborough Regional Health Centre with her family by her side on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 in her 87th year.  Beloved wife of Fergus young and the late Gerry Ingles.  Loving mother of Michael Ingles (Karen), David Ingles and William Ingles.  Sadly missed by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Predeceased by her brothers Gerald Loyse and Grant Loyse.  Sister-in-law of the late Joe Young (Zita), the late Billy (the late Ann), the late Robert (Eleanor), Jean Winn (the late Steve), Madeline Caddigan (the late Robert), Pat (Bonnie), Irene Grills (Roy), and John (Helen).  Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Verda was born and raised in Arden, taught art at Loyalist College in Belleville for 12 years, worked in the accounting department at sears in Belleville for 9 years.  Studied Theology for 2 years at the University of Toronto for 2 years. There will be a Funeral Mass held at ST. ANNE`S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, (859 Barnardo Ave. Peterborough) on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 10:30 AM.  Cremation to follow. Reception St. Anne`s Church.  In memory of Verda, donations to St. Anne`s Church, would be appreciated by the family and may be made through HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough.  Online condolences may be made at www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com
