When we first came to St. Margaret of Scotland in May 1980 your family parents, & grandparents were such a part of our settling in. Your dad & Davids cooking for camps etc. was the first thing my husband Earl recalled when I told him your Dad had journeyed on to be with God. I have been busy getting the information that your Wayne has left to be with God. As St Margaret has closed as you would have heard from Stephanie Shepherd. I took it on myself to let people know. Stephanie had said you hoped to visit during the summer, I hope to be at St. Johns when you come. Your mother Lorrie was a wonderful friend to me, I have not heard from her since my ordination in 1999, please give her my love & a hope to connect with her- someone who shaped my christian walk that led to ordination. To you Jean & all who held your dad in their hearts& prayers I send my sympathy. May Wayne rest in the eternal loving arms of God. Rev. Lilian Elliott

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and your family Jean. You truly were your daddy's little girl, he was so very proud of you, and his love for you shone through every time he spoke about you. He was not only my colleague and mentor, he was my friend, I will miss him and his daily chuckles. Rest in Peace Wayne.
