Willard "Bill" Murray Johnson

JOHNSON, Willard “Bill” Murray (General Motors, Oshawa Employee and owner of Bill’s Lawnmower Sales/Service) – While surrounded by his loving family, Bill passed away peacefully at Hospice Peterborough in the early hours of Wednesday, May 22nd, 2019 at the age of 84. Bill, beloved husband of the late Joyce (nee Avery); loving and devoted father of David (Lisa), Dean (Tara) and Jeff (Kathy Coleman); proud grandpa of Shayne (Meagan Knott), Ashleigh (Thomas Eaton), Jessica, Michael, Justin, Danielle, Alexandria and the late Lindsay and soon-to-be great-grandpa to one on the way; cherished brother of Gerald and Glenwood. Predeceased by his parents Johnny and Mary, brother William and sister Marguerite. Bill’s family wish to thank the incredible staff at Hospice Peterborough. Though Bill’s time there was short, the care and compassion he received will not be forgotten. In keeping with Bill’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial service held at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road, on Monday, May 27th, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. followed by a reception in the Highland Park Reception Centre.
