VISCARDIS, Adriano Anthony –
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Adriano at the Lakeridge Health Centre on Friday, April 4, 2025, in his 56th year.
Beloved husband of 23 years to Tracy Hammer. Strong and proud father of his son, Anthony Viscardis, with whom he shared an unbreakable bond. Cherished son of Lida and the late Antonio Viscardis. Loving brother of Dennis (Linda) Viscardis and Mary (Brian) Bencze. Adriano will be deeply missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and many dear friends.
Adriano lived a life filled with laughter, love, and connection. He was known for his affectionate laugh and a sense of humour that lit up every room he entered. A true people person, he thrived in social settings and found joy in talking to people.
He was an avid hockey and soccer player, especially cherishing the time spent on the field and rink with his closest friends and family. A passionate cook and master of the grill, Adriano’s backyard barbecues were a staple of summer. Like his father, he took pride in his garden with tomato plants and sharing the fruits of his labour.
Family meant everything to Adriano. He treasured vacations to Italy to visit extended family and reconnect with his roots, creating memories that will be forever cherished.
A man of unwavering loyalty, dedication, and work ethic, Adriano was admired by his colleagues and clients alike. His presence, leadership, and kind-hearted nature will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Friends will be received for visitation at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough, on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM in the Highland Park Funeral Chapel. Interment at Highland Park Cemetery with a reception to follow.
Special thanks to all the doctors, nurses, and paramedics of Lakeridge Health. In memory of Adriano and in lieu of flowers, donations to the PRHC Foundation or Lakeridge Health Oshawa would be greatly appreciated by the family. Online condolences may be made at www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com.
Adriano’s warmth, laughter, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
