Aileen Doris (Terrion) Monaghan

At Springdale Country Manor surrounded by her family, on Friday, May 13th, 2022 in her 94th year.  Beloved wife of the late John Joseph “Joe”.  Loving mother of Mike (the late June), Brian (Ruth), the late Debbie (the late Barney), Karen McLaren (Larry) and the late Laura Margaret.   Cherished grandmother of Breanne Algar (Tyler Crowe), Joey McLaren (Taylor Leahy), Marsha Monaghan (Chris Adkins), Meaghan Hepburn, Katie Roberge (Shane McCracken), Angie Stewart (Al), Lisa McMillan (Terry) and the late Tim McMillan.  Great grandmother of Jackson, Levi, Everly, Luca, Charlotte, Leo, Ava, Maria, Hailey, Liam, Kassandra (Alex), Katrina, Ryan, Allyssa, Brian, Julie, Nicole and Sarah.  Great great grandmother of Trey, Brayden, Zachary, Liam, Owen and Leo.  Predeceased by her parents Vincent and Laura (nee Laton) and her siblings, Dorothy, Leland, Leonard and Wayne.  Aunt Aileen will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough, on Tuesday, May 17th from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m.   Funeral Mass will be held at SACRED HEART ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH (208 Romaine Street, Peterborough) on Wednesday, May 18th, 2022 at 1:30 p.m.  Interment Highland Park Cemetery.  Reception to follow in the Highland Park Reception Centre.  In memory of Aileen, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.  Online condolences may be made at www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com.
