He spent many happy years growing up in Ennismore, Ontario and attending St. Martins elementary school. Alex enjoyed playing soccer, camping at Silent Lake Provincial Park, and challenging his siblings to a game on the Super Nintendo. Alex moved to Peterborough in his teenage years attending St. Theresa’s and St. Peters Catholic Secondary Schools.
Alex had lived with schizophrenia in his adult life since 2008. It was a difficult and challenging life for him at times. Despite his adversities, his character always remained. Alex was incredibly kind, thoughtful and appreciative. In his adult years Alex had a passion for meditation, wellness and positive psychology. One of his favourite pastimes was walking. When not going for his daily walks, you could find Alex developing apps on his computer or playing videogames- a longtime hobby of his.
